History of Cruises

Did you ever know that the first purpose built cruise ship was the Prinzessin Victoria Luise? She started service with HAPAG on June 29, 1900. She stopped service on December 16, 1906. She stopped service because, she accidentally ran in to the land in Jamaica. After 6 years, the Titanic left South Hampton. She went to France and Cobh. (Back then known as Queenstown.) Then, while she was going across the ocean, she sank while hitting an iceberg! So after that, she became a famous luxuries ocean liner. Hope you learned a thing or two from that.
